OPERATION
EGGHEAD II ©
The Great Easter Scavenger Hunt, Part 2

by Barbara

OVERVIEW: Operation
Egghead was so popular we
had to create a follow up, Operation Egghead II with new and exciting
challenges. This game is not your traditional Easter egg hunt. It includes
a variety of exciting activities for all ages to keep everyone involved.
There are team challenges, mystery challenges, puzzles to solve, and
of course a SCAVENGER HUNT loaded with surprises!
WOW, for the first time in a while
I got to see everyone in the family enjoy a game together. Trust
me it isn't easy getting 20 people to play together and have fun at
the same time. But you know what, this Easter hunt did that for
us. We got to the location and everything was setup, from the
teams, to the activities and all of a sudden we were off on the hunt. The
great thing about this hunt is that it got the competitive juices
flowing, mainly because the variety of activities were challenging
and at the same time a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed the “secret
puzzle” challenge. We were given very specific clues
and locations, we had to go and find hidden eggs containing the
puzzle pieces and then solve the secret identities. Then came the egg
roll game which
was a blast. The best part of the day was at the end, where every
team had to setup a parade using items we collected or made during
the game. If
you are looking for a fun way to spice up your Easter celebration I
strongly recommend this game for you to try out. Sincerely, Dominic
Bouchard, Belle River, Canada. More

NUMBER
OF TEAMS/PLAYERS: Unlimited. Recommended
minimum per team: 3. Maximum: 8.
?What
if you only have a few kids participating in this Easter hunt? Instead
of dividing them into teams, you can keep them all on one team and
have them race against the clock, giving the single team a time limit
to complete each section of the hunt, report back to you and bribe
you for the next section and so on until the hunt is complete.
AGE
RANGE: This scavenger hunt game
is an excellent event for families of all ages, kids/teens, youth groups,
school groups, and even workplaces.
LENGTH
OF HUNT: About
3 hours from start to finish. After
the hunt, a 1-hour time slot is recommended to share team’s findings,
tell their exciting stories, total the points and award the Great Easter
Hunters. There are other optional activities that could be
added to extend the celebration of the holiday.
PRE-HUNT PREP TIME: For
up to 6 teams, you can put our scavenger hunts together
in about 6 hours (includes shopping for
supplies, reading the scavenger hunt and prepping/printing the
materials); obviously
as you add teams, you'll need to add time to the pre-hunt prep.
THE WINNING TEAM: We include fun "Personal
Award" award
certificates. Participants can cast their votes for the most enthusiastic
person, the person with the wackiest ideas and more. In addition we have
the Great Hunt "Grand Prize" award to the team who scores the
most points overall.

to code on the puzzle to identify a secret place and secret item.
There are bonus points available for using this secret item later
in the game.
The Puzzle Challenge is an Easter Themed crossword
