SHIPPING OUR
GAMES VIA U.S. MAIL: If
you live in the Continental United States we can send
you a CD-ROM of your game. There will be an additional
shipping and handling fee of $6.00 plus sales tax (we
only ship in the U.S. via U.S. Postal Service). We highly
recommend that you download or have us email you your
game - it's a great time and money saver all around.
If you don't want to use your own printer to print out
the game files, simply copy them to a CD-ROM and bring
them to Kinkos or your local print shop.
The 3 software
programs you'll need when you order your game:
1) WinZip - or similar program (for PC users)
or Unstuffit (Mac users). Your game documents will be contained in
a .zip file (think of it as a container). Winzip (or Unstuffit) opens
that container so you can get to the game documents.
2) Microsoft Word or similar word
processing software (like Microsoft Works or Word Perfect). If
you have a Mac and don't have Microsoft Word, download this software for
a free 30 day trial so you can view, print and edit our game as needed.
Don't have ANY word processing software on your computer? Try the
free OpenOffice software. This
is a free software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics
and more. It can also read and write files from other common office
software packages (like Word).
3) Some games require the most current version
of Adobe
Acrobat Reader.

3 Options/Ideas for Our Games That Require Digital Cameras
OPTION 1: Ask parents of those participating
in the scavenger hunt to bring their digital cameras. Almost
everyone has a digital camera these days and you should be able to
find enough to supply each team with a camera (and perhaps a parent
to take the photos if you don't think the kids should handle the camera).
OPTION 2: Here are some digital camera suggestions that

the best prices and be sure to read their customer reviews; also
check your local discount department stores to see what they offer
(stores like Walmart can offer some pretty inexpensive cameras from
what I've been told) . One of my customers reported an awful
experience using http://www.ecamerafilms.com so I don’t
recommend them at this time. I love http://www.cnet.com for
tech product reviews.
OPTION 3: Use cell phone cameras.
OPTION 4: You can time each section
of the game so only 1 or 2 teams have a camera at a time.
Here's an example:
Part 1: 30 minutes
- Teams 1 and 2: get the picture challenges only
- Team 3 and 4: get the collection challenges only
All teams return in 25 minutes to get the next part of
the game.
Part 2: 30 minutes
- Teams 3 and 4: get the picture challenges only
- Team 1 and 2: get the collection challenges only
All teams do the project challenges at the
same time.

THE DESIGNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Susan Haley, is originally from Massachusetts
- where she started her company ba
ck
in 1987. In 1993, she relocated to Northern California with her
two Maine Coon cats, Sherlock and Watson. She still goes back to
Cape Cod to visit her family but California has become her home,
especially since May of 2001 when she married her husband Bill,
a corporate
advertising photographer and a native San Franciscan. From
the time she was a very young girl, Susan has always loved acting
and creative writing. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and has a BA
in Theater
Arts with a minor in Business Communications from Salem State College
in Salem, Mass., "where the witches are". To Susan, there's
nothing like doing a job about which you're absolutely passionate. Her
passion these days? Designing inspiring and creative do-it-yourself kids'
games, murder mystery games, scavenger
hunts and team
building programs.
